Joy, mid-lesson. This hour is hers.

You're teaching everything else today

Math, science, history, lunch. English is the block that runs itself: Joy teaches the daily lesson while you get an hour back. Your child gets a patient tutor who reads every word aloud — and you get proof it happened, every week.

You set the values and the schedule. Joy handles the phonics.

A planned course

Reading, phonics, grammar & writing on a phonics-first scope and sequence. New weeks added monthly.

Voiced, not a worksheet

Joy reads every word aloud, listens when your child reads back, and responds.

See their week

A calm weekly report shows what your child practiced and tracks their reading fluency.

You're the teacher, we do the tutoring

SpellingJoy is an AI reading tutor. Lessons are AI-generated and human-reviewed, built from a phonics-first scope and sequence and voiced for your child. You stay in the loop, each week you review your child's work together, with the answer key we give you.

Phonics-first, standards-aware Decodable text No ads, no data resold

To teach reading, your child's voice and writing are sent to our speech and AI providers to run the lessons and build your report. We don't show ads or sell data.

How it works

1

Set up your child

Pick a grade. Two minutes, once. We map the whole year.

2

They press play

Each day, one tap starts a voiced 20-30 min lesson. Joy reads, asks, and listens.

3

You review the week

Open the parent report any time to see what your child practiced and track their reading fluency.

Meet Joy — the tutor who never runs out of patience

This is Joy. Right now, she's listening.

  • Reads every word aloud

Your child never gets stuck on an instruction they can’t read yet.

  • Listens while your child reads

And tracks reading fluency week over week, so progress is measured, not guessed.

  • Teaches on a wrong answer

A hint and another try — never a buzzer, never a red X, never impatient.

  • Celebrates every win

Finishing a day feels like something. Kids come back for her.

Inside a daily lesson

One story carries the whole week: your child builds its words, reads it along with Joy, then reads it aloud themselves. By Friday, they read it to YOU.

BUILD THE WORD

dog

Tiles speak. Kids build what they hear.

READ ALONG

The dog can hop.

Words light up as Joy reads them.

NOW YOU READ

Joy listens and tracks reading fluency.

Friday is the best part

All week, Joy collects your child's work — every word built, every story read, even a recording of your child reading aloud. On Friday you sit down together with the report and the answer key, watch the fluency line move, and finish the printed wrap-up page as a team.

Proof for your portfolio. Pride for your kid.

Questions, answered

Does my child do this on their own?

Joy reads every word and instruction aloud, so children play the daily lessons themselves. Younger readers (around 5-6) do best with you nearby to help, and every week you review the work together.

How much of my day does this take?

Two minutes to set up. Your child does one 20-30 minute lesson a day, plus a short weekly review you do together.

What grades are ready?

Kindergarten through Grade 4 are available today, with new lessons added every month. Grade 5 is coming soon.

Do I need a printer?

Each week is four short on-screen lessons your child plays alone, plus one printed wrap-up page you do together on paper (about 15 minutes). The on-screen lessons need only a tablet or computer; a printer is handy for the weekly page.

Is it aligned to standards?

Lessons follow a phonics-first, standards-aware scope and sequence. SpellingJoy is an AI tutor, not a state-accredited program, and lessons are AI-generated and human-reviewed; you keep exportable records for your portfolio.

What if it's not for us?

Your first 7 days are free - cancel before the trial ends and you won't be charged. After that, cancel anytime from your account; you keep access through the period you've paid for.

Tomorrow morning, English is handled

Two minutes to set up tonight. 7 days free — if it's not for your family, cancel and pay nothing.
