Vendor Terms

SpellingJoy is an editorial review site. Submitting a product, completing verification, or embedding our badge does not entitle you to a listing, a review, a specific placement, or continued inclusion. We decide, at our sole discretion, whether a product is listed, how it is described, where it appears, and whether it stays. We may decline, edit, unpublish, or remove any listing, at any time, with or without notice and with or without reason.

Listings are managed only by verified vendors: you must prove affiliation with a work email on the product's official domain (or pass our manual review). We may revoke verification at any time - for example if your affiliation ends, if information you submitted proves inaccurate, or if the account is misused. New listings additionally require our badge to be embedded on your website at submission; removing it may affect your badge status and, at our discretion, your listing.

Our editors review submissions and corrections by hand. We work on a best-effort basis: review may take days or longer, we do not guarantee turnaround times, and we do not guarantee the order in which submissions are processed. Fact corrections from verified vendors are typically published within one business day of verification against your own website, but this is a goal, not a promise.

Rankings, review text, pros and cons, and "best of" placements are ours alone. They cannot be bought, and they are never affected by submitting, verifying, embedding a badge, linking to us, or anything else a vendor does or offers. Verified vendors may correct factual fields (pricing, grades, platforms, website) with evidence from their own site; opinions and positions are not editable.

You are responsible for the accuracy of everything you submit - names, taglines, pricing, images, and corrections. By uploading logos, screenshots, or other assets you confirm you own them or hold the rights, and you grant SpellingJoy a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, reproduce, resize, and adapt them for the purpose of operating the site (for example cropping or compressing images). This license does not affect your ownership. We may remove any asset that appears inaccurate, misleading, infringing, or inappropriate. Misrepresenting affiliation with a product is prohibited and ends your participation.

All product names, logos, and trademarks that appear on SpellingJoy remain the property of their respective owners. Listing a product does not imply the owner's endorsement of SpellingJoy, nor ours of them.

Award and verification badges are generated from live data and remain our property. You may embed them only for the product and tier actually earned, unmodified and linked as provided. We may change badge artwork, criteria, or availability, and may revoke a badge at any time - including when the underlying ranking or verification changes.

You can ask to have your product removed from all SpellingJoy listings at any time by emailing info@spellingjoy.com from a company-domain address. We honor verifiable removal requests on a best-effort basis, normally within a few business days. Removal ends your verification, badges, and portal access. We are not responsible for copies held by search engines, caches, archives, or third parties, and we may retain internal records (such as audit logs and correspondence) for legal, security, and record-keeping purposes.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless SpellingJoy, Veloris, LLC, and their officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from content or assets you submit, your use of the Vendor Program or badges, your violation of these terms, or your infringement of any third party's rights.

The Vendor Program is provided "as is" and "as available", free of charge, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. You participate at your own risk and confirm you are not relying on any listing, position, badge, or traffic outcome in making business decisions. To the maximum extent permitted by law, SpellingJoy and Veloris, LLC are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, nor for loss of business, revenue, data, or reputation arising from a listing, its content, its position, its removal, or the availability of the program - and our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Vendor Program shall not exceed one hundred US dollars (US$100).

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Vendor Program - in whole, in part, or for any individual vendor - at any time, without notice or liability. On termination or removal for any reason, you must stop using our badges and any SpellingJoy references that imply a current listing or endorsement.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, consistent with our general Terms and Conditions. Nothing in the Vendor Program creates a partnership, agency, or employment relationship. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. We may update these terms at any time by posting the revised version here with a new effective date; continued use of the Vendor Program after a change means you accept it.
